Guitar Bomb
KABOOM!

While drunkand dour a man decides that is best to lift himself from the ashes of his failure and to create a new god for himself. He decides that it is time to smash his idols and to revolt against the forces that claim his origin. So he buys a 50 dollar guitar and spray paints gunshot wounds and flames across the exterior. He cracks another pint of whiskey and reads some Bukowski while spinning a Stooges record on the turntable. By the end of the night he has written a few cranky blues tunes and plugs his guitar into the stereo and pretends to sing like Tom Waites. The next thing you know, he's driving around the country in a gold mini-van with tinted windows. He's driving to the next show where he will be singing rowdy sonnets to drunkards and strange women in forgotten cities. But before surpassing the brink of self destruction and careening into the horizon, he slams his brakes to pick up a lone hitchhicker on the road to nowhere. The traveller is a gisly fella with a heart of gold and an unwavering desire for all that is possible. In his eyes one can't miss noticing the battle between control and chaos. He hops in the van and says, "keep goin' this way 'till we can't go no more, and when you get to the end, pretend that we just started. Don't stop for nothin'."

Originally conceived as a one man band, Guitar Bomb has evolved into a two piece combo of guitar, drums and vocals. The debute release, Back Alley Jesus,  on Crafty Records received much critical acclaim, "....Guitar Bomb's, Back Alley Jesus, is a torrent of conflicting affairs that will usually fall either side of the line; suicidal ideation or worthless popism. He has somehow managed to master the juggling act and find the perfect balance between the two." -Salvo Magazine(UK). For their latest release, Happy Hour At The Silverado, this genre crossing duo is dedicated to delivering punk rock credibility to the blues. If there is a single act that can tip its cap to the old delta Mississippi players of the 30's and shake a fist with the punks of the 70's and trash with the head bangers of the 80's, it is Guitar Bomb.  A rigorous tour schedule has edged them closer to the spotlight opening for Dexter Romweber at the famous 40 Watt Club in Athens Georgia and performing at several high profile festivals such as North By North East in Toronto and the Heavy Rebel Weekender in Winston Salem North Carolina, amongst many others. This recently refurbished duo has become a crowd favorite in some areas while continuing to build on their reputation as emerging artists.  One can expect to see or hear more about this act in the future.
